 Homemade Whole Wheat Pizza

What s going on Art Of Six Pack, yesterday I posted a photo on Instagram and I receive a lot of emails asking me how I made it so here I am, lets begin !!!
Lets start from the base of the pizza, which is the pitta,
Allrihgt,  personally I took a whole what pitta from my grocery store, I don’t know from where you buy, but you want to get a pitta which is whole wheat, cause as I said in another post glycemic index can make a big difference.
Now that we have the base lets move to the next most important thing in a pizza which is sauce.
For my sauce I selected a tomato sauce from my supermarket, which doesn’t have anything than smashed tomatoes.
These two ingredients are the base of pizza, lets move to toppings !!!
With toppings you want to get creative, make your imagination run wild !
But you have to chose a path, this is that you have to chose a protein source, this can be what ever you want, chicken, eggs, beef, salmon what ever you want !
I personally went with smoked turkey fillets which is like zambon but with very low fat content.
After that we have our mainly protein source lets go to … cheese !
You want to find something that has normal levels of fat content or even little what ever works best for you and your macros !
I personally went with light mozzarella cheese.
Finally we are going to put colors in our pizza, mushrooms, olives, onions, peppers ….you named it, let your imagination run wild !

Ingredients :

  • 1 whole wheat pitta
  • Tomato sauce
  • Light mozzarella cheese
  • Turkey fillets
  • Mushrooms
  • Olives
  • Onions
  • Peppers

Instructions :
  1. Get your whole wheat pitta and put it on aluminum foil.
  2. On the pitta put olive oil, not much, 1-2 tsp
  3. Now spare the olive oil (keep in mind that you have to leave a little space on the sides of the pitta cause this is going to be the crust.)
  4. Smash one garlic on a blender and spare in on the pitta, or if you have garlic powder throw some.
  5. Take 2-3 tbsp of tomato sauce and spare it on the pitta.
  6. Take a little bit of your cheese and spare it on the pitta (Very little (5 gr))
  7. Now its time to put your toppings, cut in pieces your mushrooms, olives, peppers, onion, turkey and spare it on your pitta
  8. After you put all of your toppings, and its full of colors, its time to put the cheese.
  9. Spare it on the pitta
  10. Finally we go to seasoning, little black pepper and oregano.
  11. Now take your aluminum foil carefully and put it on the oven that has been preheated on 370-400 F (180-200 C) depending on your oven.
  12. Leave it for 10-15 minutes.
  13. Enjoy

About the macros it depends on what cheese, pitta and protein source you will choose.
But I believe that carbs will be from 35 gr to 50 gr.
About the fats, i cant make a guess cause it isn’t only what source you will choose but what quantity also.
So keep in mind when you put your cheese. Not to much and not to little. 1-2 handfuls its ok.
If you want to learn exactly your macros just look at the nutritional facts and calculate them!

Banana oatmeal pancakes

2) 1 mediun banana
3) 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt

  4. Then you will add the banana (smashed)
  5. With the banana add the yogurt also, and the seasonings.
  6. Now stir it for little until all the ingredients compine together.
  7. Preheat the pan on medium to low heat .
  8. When it's hot enough (when you drop water it makes bubbles), put 1 tablespoon of olive oil and spare it all over the pan.
  9. Now  it's time to put the butter into the pan, spare it to cycle it.
  10. Check it out after 1 minute to see if it's ok from the bottom and flip it !

 Whole recipe :

 Calories : 570
 Protein : 30
 Fats : 7
 Carbs : 83

I eat this 1,5 hours before training. It's amazing and you feed your body

If you want to adjust it you can, for example if you want more carbs to put a little bit more oats or banana.
If you want more protein add more yogurt,  egg whites or even protein powder .
If you want more fat add some yolks, peanut butter, anything you like
I don't have fats cause it's pre workout meal  and fats slow down even more the absorption, so it isn't very convenient for me.

Well that's it guys, i hope you give a try my recipe and like it.
